Default Kids. The things they say and do

My colleague told me about her little nieces. One of them asked her big sister (age 6)to put a "Harry Potter" style scar on her forehead. What the 6 year old actually did was to write the word LOSER across the little girl's forehead.... The 6 year old will go far if she lives that long.....

I hope it wasn't permanent marker!

My hubby downloaded a file of photos which are a spoof on the Mastercard 'priceless' ads & most of those involve terrible things that people's so-called friends have done to them - & photographed!! I can just imagine that little girl being one her friends won't want to go drinking with in years to come!

We were talking about cd's, dvd's and videos a few days ago and got talking about record players and albums. Sean (8) piped up that he knew all about them as he'd seen them in a museum while on a school trip.

How old did I feel? I remember feeling really proud when I got a second hand record layer in my room as a teenager. (wasn't that many years ago honest !!!!)

Carol you can still buy "decks" over here we have one parked in the living room and a ton of LP's in a box upstairs (not that we play them anymore) so they can't be that bad

Chris..aaahhhhh..what a lovely card..is he trying to score brownie pts? Mothers Day was in March in England and i've had my card from my daughter sat on top of the telly since then

Carol, that reminds me..

My Godson was asking me what my favourite films were. I listed a number of them and explained that the majority were black and white. Instant shock from Matt. Why would anyone want to see a movie not in colour!!! Now THAT did make me feel old!
