Default Here we go!

Hey, I'm Brittany.
I've been reading the forums on here for awhile now. I always look at people's success stories and think that I can do it. I tell myself I'm going to start on a healthier life style the next day or the beginning of the week. But so far I have still failed to do it. I've finally realized though that being overweight (obese even) is making me MISERABLE. I have two awesome little boys that have so much energy and I feel that I don't even have enough to get up and play with them outside. I am a volunteer EMT and want to make this my career and I think my weight is holding me back from that as well. It makes things in daily life so much more difficult. And I am finally so tired of feeling like this. I am DETERMINED to make these changes. Since I don't have much of a support system around me, I need all I can get from online and what better place than here!

I'm about 320 I want to lose 150, so my ultimate goal is 170.

hi brittany! (: your determination is awesome, and i'm sure that's what's going to keep you going. make sure you start slow that you don't burn out within the first week or so. once you start exercising regularly, you'll feel your energy level rising and then you could even rope your two little dear ones in and make some of your workouts fun!

good luck on your journey! (:

Hi Brittany, and

"Determination" is the very quality you need so glad you have it!! You CAN do this!!

I could not help but notice that we are close to the same height and I started out just a bit below where you are, at 306. And I am a lot older so that makes it harder. So you see it CAN be done!!

It is soooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it!! Hope you decide to stick around and work out an eating and exercise plan, etc.
