So recently, Colorado was said to be the state with the lowest obesity rate...I don't fit in here!

My name is Janina and I'm a librarian in beautiful Colorado. I wake up every morning to the most amazing view of Pikes Peak...and I love it.

I have struggled with my weight my entire life, but I recently learned that it is actually ruining my vision. I also rely upon CPAP at night. I'm 32...I shouldn't be so worried about such serious health issues.

So i'm working to drop the lbs. I like this site and hope to meet lots of others who can provide encouragement - and who I can encourage as well!

Doing Metabolic Research Center. So far, I'm liking it. I've lost 20 lbs since Oct 24! Kind of incredible...though in my experience I always lose a lot fast at the beginning...and then it slows down...

Welcome and good luck! I am 58 yo Type II diabetic diagnosed in 2005. Take charge of your health now at a young age. Trust me when I say it is so much harder to do when you are my age. You can do this!
