Welcome Rebecca74. I'm new here too. There are a lot of good threads on all kinds of weight loss plans-counting calories, weight watchers, etc. It makes it nice to find all the info in one place. Good luck!

hi rbecca! i'm sorry to hear about your medical issues with thyroid. could you please tell me some more about your symptoms and healing process?
we're exactly the same in weight and height. just today i realized that i've been maintaining my weight at 180-185 for about a year after losing about 50 pounds and regaining more than half back. lately i keep spinnin in a cycle of losing and regaining the same 8-10 pounds. i suscpect my hormones but i do binge eat after being on plan for a few days or weeks. i really want to lose about 20 pounds but it seems my body wants to stay at this weight :/
well good luck to you and welcome

Hello and welcome to both of you newbies.

rbecca, I understand, as I have had half of my thyroid removed because of a tumor. It takes some adjustment and extra work but we can still lose our extra weight.

So glad you are here.
