Hi, I'm new here and on the Ideal Protein diet for 3 weeks. I am very happy with my success. I have lost 11 pounds so far and am losing fat and gaining lean mass. I have been a vegetarian for many years and thought this type of diet was out for me. I also had all but given up on losing weight due to a non-funtioning thyroid and years of trying everything under the sun, and having a very active life style. I thought I just was going to be fat forever. I am shocked that this is working and at the amount of energy I have - I feel like I woke up for the first time in 20 years! I wish I had found this plan sooner.
