Default Single mother of active toddler, I need to drop those lbs!

Hey everyone!
Obviously I am new here if I am in here posting. I don't even want to post my starting weight. I couldn't believe it when I saw that number on the scale. I weighed less when I was pregnant!!! How can that be? Anyways, after looking through pictures on facebook, looking at all the cute clothes I used to wear. Even the difference in how my face looks. Today, I just look bloated and tired. I lost that glow I used to have. I want all of that back! Unfortunately, my determination and self discipline fly out the window with any sort of stress. I was in a very abusive relationship with my son's father and we are finally free from that. However I developed a ton of bad habits concerning food and comforting myself with it. I notice I tend to still go down that route when something goes wrong, or I find myself lonely.
I hope to meet amazing people here who can become my friends, and help support me, guide me and encourage me. Also, I am eager to learn proper eating habits, anything really.

I plan on doing Atkins. It's what I did last time. I did really good on it...until I had a cheat day. Im just going to be a little more careful and not give into the different excuses.
