Default Fed up with the way I am

I don't really know how to start. I guess I won't be too creative and start with:

Hi everybody! My name is Tom and I have a weight problem. I'm 19, 6'1 and I weight 310 pounds. As long as I can remember, I've always had a weight problem but I just realized how much I'm missing out on life and that it's slowly getting out of hand. Don't get me wrong, I have A LOT of friends but something just doesn't feel right. I really have NO REASON at all not to lose weight. I'm really healthy, I have a decent cardio base (for someone my weight). Also, a lot of women compliement me on my looks. I've been trying to lose weight so many times but I guess I wasn't as motivated as I am right now. The fact that I'm sharing it with all of you is definitely a biggie, too!

I tried to keep it short but please, if you have any questions, post here! I'll be more than glad to answer and will definitely make me even more motivated.

TOM ~ they say that there's no time like the present, so it's a really good time for you to work on this issue. This is a great place for support and ideas; plus, we have some guys all over the site, and a Mens' Corner as well. Good luck!

Thank you so much. Can't wait to get up in the morning and hit the gym. I'm planning eating 5 times a day and doing A LOT of cardio.

That sounds like you have both an eating and fitness plan in place; that's a good start. Keep us posted on how it all goes for you ...
