Default Hi everyone

Hello Everyone,

I just signed up and am new to the board. I am starting my weight loss journey as of today.. not doing any specific program, just going to try counting calories and exercising and see where that gets me.

Hi gamer girl! I am new on here also, and I am on my first week of losing weight. I decided to join weight watchers online. Good luck on your journey :-) we can do this!

Default Good Luck

I wish you the best of luck and would suggest that you read whatever you can on health and try to keep up on the posts. There is a lot of good information here. When I need a lift I look at the success stories and pictures. That always inspires me to keep going. I'm learning to develop new habits. Just take one day at a time and you will be fine.

Hello and

And I have just lost 56 pounds (and plan to lose a lot more) by simply eating right and exercising... no "diet plan" -- so it *does* work! I wish you well. You can do it too!!

And yes, it is very helpful to study up on nutrition. Counting calories is fine (I don't... but I DO have a good knowledge of what is healthful/low cal, etc. so I eat healthful foods) but they need to be from *nutritious* foods that are going to keep your system running great!!!

Hope to see you around the forum.
