I was not sure which section to post this in....I was just diagnosed the other day with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I'm having a hard time with what I could be eating, as it seems and carbs I consume make me bloated, uncomfortable, and yucky. I love my carbs, but not sure what to eat to satisfy the craving for them. I have been doing a lot of research on IBS and feeling overwhelmed. Does anyone else here suffer from IBS and have a few tips for me? Thanks!
I also suffer from IBS, have been for years. I'm afraid its an individual thing, you need to find the foods that trigger IBS. I am trying to go without gluten and dairy, being a vegetarian makes it very difficult to say the least.
I am so uncomfortable and need to stay very close to the bathroom all day. Stress plays a big part with IBS and I do have plenty of that in my life right now.
So keep doing your research and keep a journal of foods that you eat and what you experience after. Know your diet and get to know what you can eat and what you cant. information is powerful.
