Smile Woot Woot! 1 month on IP!

Hello everyone! I don't post much but I do read a lot of posts and enjoy all the posts/feedback/advice etc etc that you all give. I just wanted to share with all of you that in 32 days (started IP on Aug 1 and had my 4th WI on Sept 1) I have lost 22.2 pounds!! Woot woot! This last WI I lost 7.4 pounds!!
There have been times when I say, "What the **** am I doing....There is no way I can be on this plan for 7-8 months" But then I realize that I have had PLENTY of years of eating what I want and look where it got me. I am going to do this!! My bf of 20 years gave me a hug today and noticed that I was smaller! Yay!! Have a great afternoon everyone!

Happy Labor Day!!

-Megan

Megan, this phase 1 is only temporary, and it goes really fast. Enjoy the time you have to readjust your lifestyle.
And stick around with us. I have found this forum to by my greatest tool for success.
I just realized that I am the exact same weight as I was the day I was married, which is 32 years ago coming up this week. I have not been that weight since. It is an awesome accomplishment that you have to look forward to!

I linked your post as inspiration. As Delgen said, the time has flown by, it is temporary, but i did learn a lot about myself and food. Congratulations on an Awesome Month!

Congrats!!!! I feel like you sometimes....I see how much longer I have to go and feel like there is no way I will ever last that long, but then I look at how fast I am losing weight and remind myself to just take it one day at a time. There is no other diet that will help you lose this fast! Just gotta get it done!

Wow....you have done great! I love it when I hear excitement from all the successes! I too will have my 4 week weigh in this next Tuesday! Like you I go from absolutely hating this program to absolutely LOVING this program. But the weight losses are so worth it!!!! I have NEVER lost weight like this before and am so fortunate to have found it. Congratulations and keep up the good work!

I am right there with you, and I have a ways to go too. I find it makes it easier to focus on mni-goals. Right now I am focused on getting to 211, which was a weight I was at for a very long time a few years ago, and it was a "good" weight for me. I could wear cute (plus sized) things and I didn't feel bad about myself. When I get there, I will focus on getting to 180, which is the lowest I have been as an adult. I don't have a timeline for these goals, but that's where I put my focus. If I thought about having to get to 120 (which is really where I should be to be healthy), I would be totally overwhelmed.

Keep up the good work!
