Default Insanity!

Is anybody else out there doing insanity? I'm not sure if I can even say I'm doing insanity...it's on the TV, and half the time I'm laying on the floor trying to breathe! Anyway, I just restarted yesterday. I did it for about a week before, but hurt my ankle and had to stop. I did the fit test again yesterday. Talk about feeling like a failure!! Ugh!! But, here's my numbers anyway.

Switch Kicks: 60
Power Jacks: 28
Power knees: 51
Power Jumps: 21
Globe Jumps: 8
Suicide Jumps: 9
Push up jacks: 12
Low Plank Oblique: 26

Today, I can barely move! I am so sore and really not feeling up to my work out, but I know, no pain, no gain. I just didn't think it'd be this much pain! I am giving myself 2 weeks to lose 10 pounds. I know, somewhat unrealistic. But I figure the first 10 pounds are just water weight. I quit drinking pop yesterday and started working out, so I think it's a good goal. I go back to school in 2 weeks. Anyway, is anybody else doing insanity? And having as hard of a time with it?? I'm thinking about doing a lower impact workout at night (I do insanity in the afternoon when it's just my son and me home). Maybe zumba on the wii or carmen electra workouts? Either way, something different every night. What do all of you think?

I think you can definitely do it!!

You may not be able to do it perfect yet, but keep going and I am sure you will build up to that level.

I was actually thinking of ordering that workout. I have been doing a workout routine near my house for the past 10 weeks...Very intense, 45 minutes a day - 5 days a week... Do you recommend it??

I need some drastic results!!

I actually decided that I am not ready for insanity just yet. I'd like to lose 20 pounds. It is very hard on my joints. Time to stop for now. However, I did part of a turbo jam workout, them did 50 sit ups on my ab lounge, used some weights for a while, and drank a ton of water. I am thinking about buying a cleansing thing at the store today to start me off right. And maybe start drinking smoothies for breakfast instead of a meal. I'm giving myself 2 weeks to lose 15 pounds. I need to do this NOW. I am in the nursing program, and am sick of my scrubs being tight. I've been off for the summer, so I will be going back in 2 weeks. Hopefully my scrubs won't be as tight. Tonight, I am planning on going for a walk as well. I think this more fits my needs at this time.
