Default I'm Sooo Excited

the results r in... as ive mentioned im a new calorie counter (4 wks) n also taking an adult health class thru our local clinic. the 1st wk we took waist measurements, blood pressure, n had bloodwork (cholesterol n sugar)done. this past monday we had our bw redone for our reults at this a.m. meeting...
my cholesterol levels have all dropped over 30pts. each(still high BUT heading in rite direction)!
my bloodpressure from 130/80 to 110/68!
my fasting sugar 5.2 (which is good) down to 4.8 (perfect)!
ive lost 10lbs n 4inches off my waist! all thru a healthy lifestyle change!
my daily counts all needed adjusting for my new numbers. looks like ive finally found the rite road that will lead to the heathier, happier ME! i know there will b potholes n speed bumps along the way but w/ all of u at 3FC i WILL have the POWER to get past them! im so glad i found this site!

all without the help of: A)medications of some sort which is 1 of my goals to not have to b bombarded with meds as i get older! i am a member of the "prozac-nation" which i have learned is a hinderence (sp?) to weight lose. B) fad diets which can b a quick fix n i have done many to lose only to b bigger the next go round, not to mention causing me other health issues to boot. just all natural god given foods n stress relieving activities also known as that dirty word EXERCISE lol! and lets not forget the support n knowledge (learned the hard way) of yall at 3FC! *hugs* heres to a long n not always easy journey to health, happiness n making new friends everywhere!

i am up to 1514 calories a day now that my activity level has more than tripled! sometimes i need a little more n ill usually grab fruit or ff/sf yogurt! all of my macronutrients (carbs, fiber, protein, fat)are also allotted daily amounts as well as my calories (not sure if all cc is done this way). my sodium intake is kept under 1500mg (which means little to no processed foods). i honestly cant get over how much better n different im feeling!
