I am off to Sunny (I hope) Southampton to see my relatives. Hopefully I will behave food wise. I aim to be a bit of walking with my Dad as the area is lovely (New Forest).
I'm going to Seaton Sands in a caravan on Monday and not coming home until Friday. Am going with 2 friends and our 6 kids. Think we are mad and we will definately need a holiday at the end of it.
Should be a good laugh, will be even better if the weather stays as nice as it has been recently, but even if it turns so what. I'll put my coat on and go out in the rain, I've been wet before.
We're going in 2 caravans and the wine will be flowing every night hindering the weight loss, but we'll be walking along the sands during the day with the kids and dancing and having a carry on at night.
Seaton Sands is just to the east of Edinburgh, near Preston Pans if anybody is interested. Is maybe 40 miles away from home, will take us about 45 minutes to get there if we get caught in rush hour traffic.
Carol..that sounds lovely..great fun..simple..but you can't beat having fun with your friends i hope the weather stays nice for you..i heard from family that the weather has been pretty nice lately.
I'm doing nowt just hanging around the house and gardening i suppose.
Well that was what people were up to last year - lol. What are people doing this year?
I hope you are not all intending to put the Easter Bunny out of business by eating all his eggs - lol. I am taking my kids on the 300 mile train journey to my Grandma's as this is her year on her own. I will try so hard not to eat chocolate eggs. The good thing is that I will be doing the shopping (going to order on-line to be delivered when I get there as I don't have any transport and y Aunty who normally shops for my Grandma will heva just had an operation). I will also be doing the cooking so it will all be low fat - lol.
More to the point, what are all the mothers (or children - lol) doing tomorrow for Mothers day?
My husband is working so I will be home all day with the kids doing housework - lol and then making a Roast Dinner - lol. No rest for the wicked - lol.
I'll be taking my trike on the Northumberland Bikers Easter Egg Run http://www.northumberland-bikers.co.uk/EggRun.htm Where about 500 Bikers/Trikers donate and deliver chocolate eggs to childrens homes, old folks homes and hospitals.
Last year was torturous looking at over a thousand eggs piled up at the front of the Bebside Inn in Blythe!!
Fantastic fun!
