Default Calories in sea scallops -accurate site

I bought some beautiful, big, fresh sea scallops today. They are about 10 scallops to a pound. I have been on several sites to find calorie info and I get very different results on the different sites, from 25 cal/oz to 50 cal/oz. 50 seems quite high and could be a problem.

Anybody have a good approximation for one oz of "U-10" (10 scallops/pound) sea scallops?

Thanks. BTW, these are frat in stir fry...

I don't know where you're looking, but most websites estimate seas scallops as approximately 100 calories per 100 grams (~3.5 oz). I just ate them a few minutes ago, pan seared. Yum!

I have New England Wild Jumbo Scallops listed in my custom foods in FitDay. It says 25 calories per ounce. I don't remember for sure, but usually I get the info off of the package.

Scallops are one of my all time favorite foods. They are expensive, but I treat myself to scallops instead of a steak.

I actually saw the high calorie count in several places, including the Wegman's web site and in an app I use, MyFitDiary. But 478 cals for 8 oz of scallops seemed quite high.

I think I will go for something more conservative like 30 cal/oz. They tasted so good.
