I was wondering if the Olympics have inspired any of you to "ramp up" or start a new exercise program? I'm looking to add in some variety, so I wanted to know what you've found works for you and is fun!
If I was watching the Olympics and if there was a pool nearby, I'd probably be going nuts at this point frantically trying to get back my high school breast stroke times. Watching really good swimmers makes me do that. At one point I could do 100m in 1:14...I shudder to think what it would be up to now...
I'm Kenyan so I've been watching A LOT of long distance Kenyan runners winning marathons, breaking record times, and training etc. Very motivating. I also enjoy running long distance(right now I'm starting to train as I lose the weight for a 5K I'm doing in October and another in November) so it keeps me motivated and excited.
