Re-Introducing Myself.
Hello All! My name is Katie. I joined this site a LONG time ago and kind of stopped posting. I may have not even posted anything. It's been that long so I don't really remember. Anyway a little bit about myself. I am 23 years old and I have been obese pretty much since I can remember. About 4 years ago I met a guy that I fell in love with. We eventually moved in together and about after a year of living with each other we realized we didn't love each other but continued to live with each other because neither of us could afford a place by our self. So as he escaped through his video games I escaped through food. I gained a bunch of weight. Got to the biggest I've ever been at 315 pounds.... and at 23 years old. ): Anyway, about 7 months ago I finally left him after I found out he had been sleeping with a married woman. I still loved him even though I wasn't in love with him and it was still hard to leave but it was the best decision I've made for myself. I started eating better and working out and with that came the weight loss. In the past 7 months I have lost 62 pounds. I still have about 73 pounds to go to get to my first goal weight of 180. After I lose 53 more pounds I am going to join CrossFit. But anyway, I have made a life change and I am so much happier with my life. It's amazing how something so painful can turn into so much happiness. Anyway, I am going to post a picture somewhere once I find where to put before/current/after photos. Also, I am a part of MyFitnessPal and I forum there regularly. I look forward to meeting some new friends here and if anyone is on MFP look me up and add me. My user name is Heagler870.
