Starting Over-deleting stuff online

  • I did really well with calorie counting a few years back, I need to get back into it. I have tried to get back into it, and I think I like MFP the best. I had set up an account a while back. My question is this, how do I go in there and delete the stuff that says you haven't logged in in 3 weeks, maybe she needs some encouragement. I want to almost start completely over, and set up everything from scratch.

Is there a way to do that??
  • Not sure if there is a way to do it. Why dont you create a new account? I've done that a few times in the past so I'm not reminded of my past failed attempts.

    Good luck!
  • Please don't create a new account as it's against 3FC rules. It makes for confusion. It would also mean losing your current posts.

You can go back and delete the posts yourself but it's tedious. They will still actually be there because the Internet is forever.

Let me know if there is one specific series of posts you'd like removed and I will see what I can do.

Ruthxxx, I believe she is talking about calorie counting sites, not 3FC

Yup, MFP, not 3FC. At the home page of MFP.com as long as you're logged in, where you see all that "hasn't logged in 3 weeks. maybe she needs encouragement." stuff, put your mouse cursor over it and you should see a "Remove" option on it on the right. That stuff annoyed the crap outta me too and I recently finally figured out how to remove it. Yay! No need to make a new account.
  • You can even delete your previous entries for WI by clicking on editing previous entries, I'm sure the food long and exercise log should be the same.

Just noticed we have similar stats and weight goals. Good luck to you!
