Default Pole Fitness?

Hey ladies, I have been hearing more and more about pole fitness. There is a studio near where I attend school and I'm debating picking it up two to three times a week sort of as strength training. Has anyone tried it? I know people who compete in it are ripped but I thought it'd be a fun and sexy way to gain some more muscle. What have your experiences been with it?

I can't help you there, but just wanted to say that I would totally do that if I could around here. :-)
Should be fun. If you ever get around to starting it, let us know how it was!

A friend of mine does pole fitness and loves the workout it gives her and how feminine it makes her feel. Her arms and abs have definitely benefited. I took a semester of exotic dance recently and loved it. I didn't want the hour to end, it was so much fun. I felt so luscious. Go for it!

I took a 10 session class. It was fun, but I didn't like it well enough to turn it into one of my regular workouts. I'm glad I tried it though.

I took a beginners course and it was super fun! I am thinking about taking intermediate soon.. The only downside is the bruises when you first start out. And the upper body strength required...I have the puniest spongebob arms ever.
