Default What treats do you like to have?

Went grocery shopping today and was definitely tempted when looking at some goodies. Tiramisu, chips, etc. Well, I decided as *treats* that I would buy 1 carton of International Delight Iced Coffee (Mocha) and 1 bag of Frito Honey BBQ twists. Definitely going to have to make sure I don't binge, now!

So, what are your favorite treats when you can have them?

Brave!
I won't stock foods I'm afraid I'll binge on, which is why bread and butter are not in my house. I don't have a big sweet tooth so I can safely stock chocolate chips and have a few every night,.

I really like Breyers chocolate ice cream (1/2 cup is only 140 calories), Edy's fruit pineapple bars (80 calories), and tootsie pops (60 calories). Since I count my calories if I want something that is usually not on the menu, I try to "budget" for it.

Ah, totally forgot about ice cream as a temptation. I LOVE Hudsonville's Cake Batter, but I was a bit relieved to find out that the store didn't have that flavor.

Yeah, I'm going to be really careful especially with the iced coffee.

I like those jello fruit cups with a good squirt of redi whip whipped cream ontop (the fat free kind), popcorn with lots of that cheese seasoning and Pam, kettle brand chips (only with my sandwhiches), I also sometimes buy those 100 calorie hostess packs and have one with 1/2 cup of skim milk, sliced peaches with cottage cheese, light cheese sticks wrapped in ham, oh I also buy little packs of beef jerkey, the sticks with 50 calories. I love beef jerkey and could eat a whole bag in one sitting so individual things are a must!

Fiber One Brownies (yum yum yum)

I just discovered them. Of course a regular homemade brownie would be better, but they are still amazingly awesome for only 90 calories.

86% dark chocolate squares
Greek yogurt with homemade jam
Hummus and pretzel chips
Apple and natural peanut butter
Popcorn with spices

Most of my meals are snack size, so I am eating all day, and nothing really feels like a treat, but not in a bad way.

Extra special treats are rare, because I have found that most things I used to enjoy I can no longer have unless they are individually packaged. I bought a bag of natural Cheetos the other day and I ate the whole bag over the course of a day! I am an absentminded eater, so having preset portions is key. As long as I do that, I can fit most anything into my treat category!

My treats are cookies, nuts, etc., so I can't keep any of that in my house. I will eat the entire bag at one time.

I'm a sucker for chips and salsa.
I can pretty much have as much of the salsa as I want but the chips I have to limit myself on. It's easy to get carried away, though!
