Default Siggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So, I just can't seem to get the ball rolling. I thought I'd try counting calories, but I'm starving. I manage the hunger ok if I do Atkins, but I just can get it into gear. What the heck is wrong with me??? I really need to lose about 100 lbs but I'm taking it one day at a time. The 230's seem to have wrapped themselves around my ankles and aren't going to EVER let go. I would love feed back from you guys as ya'll have always been so inspiring.

Starting is the hardest part, once you've started it's easier to keep going! I know it's not easy, but if you start with something small, like a walk around the block every day, you'll be there before you know it Check out some of the success stories on the forum for motivation. Knowing how many people have reached their goal makes it seem reachable. Good luck!

Some people have a harder time starting, some continuing, some both. You definitely can get this to happen. It's hard for me to make any constructive observations without knowing what you're eating. Do you count calories? Do you exercise (not that this is necessary)? I love your plan to take it one day at a time. That's where i'm at and will always have to be. It may be helpful for you to make a menu for the day and just stick to it like glue. Tell yourself that the next day, you can eat whatever is not on there, but for one day, just stick to it. Then do the same the next day. Some people do better making one change a week such as removing their morning donut or not drinking anymore juice. Then it's less overwhelming. I hope that helps.

are your calories too low? or maybe you aren't managing them right and eating empty calories? assess all that. i can't say enough about calorie counting, it has worked for me and many people here. i also can't say enough about myfitnesspal.com (and the MFP phone app), it has really helped me keep track. good luck to you!! find something that inspires you, whether it be vacation, summer, athletes, etc!

Thanks to all
You know I have had some small (very small) accomplishments these last couple of days. I have made some really wise choices as far as food. I'm not really a sweets person, (not that I can't devour me some lemon cake ) but I just eat the wrong things when I'm starving. I appreciate ya'lls encouragement so much. You are all are awesome !
