Default Well the logical thing to do...

when you're in a mood is to eat a half a pizza and a soda for breakfast. Not a great start to the day.

think about if that temporary "enjoyment" outweighs the feeling that you will have after you eat it & for the rest of the day. are those few minutes really worth it? its something i have to ask myself everytime i want to indulge in something i know i shouldn't. don't do it! you will feel much happier later (:

Can you make a quesadilla with veggies, tomato sauce, and cheese to simulate that pizza flavor, or if you have flatout or tortillas, you can make a pizza using it as the crust by crisping it, topping it, then baking until the cheese melts.

I think she already ate it...
If that's the case OP, just pick yourself up and move on! Don't let it ruin the whole day. Slip ups like that happen, just try not to let it get you down.

That was typed through my last bite I will just be eating fish and broccoli for the rest of the day and drinking lots of water. And a lunch time workout will be in order.

Just move on and learn from it - what caused the desire to eat that for breakfast? (Though worse things could be eaten, for sure). Lack of sleep? Too hungry from the day before? Too many carbs? Stress?

Learn from it and try to not let such a situation happen again or try to find less destructive coping mechanisms. That's all part of the journey - figuring ourselves out!

I think it's good that you plan on getting back on track for the rest of the day.

I was in a bad mood. I'm stressed at work and am just drowning right now, and I just woke up in a mood, and it was in the fridge, so bad things happened. BUT, I went onto myfitnesspal, and tracked it, and figured out what I can eat for the rest of the day (salad at lunch, grilled fish and steamed broccoli for dinner, and some baby carrots during teh day) to stay under my calories for the day.

Its been a long time since I ate crappy food out of grumpiness. I have learned to just scrub something instead. Lesson learned - grab a toilet brush, not pizza!

This is what I love about calorie counting. You made a boo-boo, and thought about what to do instead next time. And the best part is that you aren't totally off track! You figured out how to compensate for the rest of the day. It may suck a bit, but you are still doing great.

I think as long as you compensate with calories it's okay.

But I know I had to address eating as a way to deal with emotions to move forward with my weight loss.

Must be the phase of the moon. I've had a lot of trouble this week controlling myself.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep going! We're here with you!
