I'm still at it but this is much is done for today...
washed my quilt
washed my bedding
washed kid's bedding/quilt
vac bathroom, foyer, kitchen
And can I brag about last month? Friends came over and I got the books all organized in the bedroom (three shelves!) and both bathrooms got primed and painted! Woohoo!
Will come back to post more in a while. I'm chugging on the small stuff. Friend coming tomorrow to help on a larger project. Thank god for friends!
Barely have had the motivation to workout these last few days, nevermind cleaning! Heh. Needs to be done, though.
Need to:
Vacuum upstairs rugs
Clean the upstairs bathroom
Clean up the computer room
Repack the boxes in the basement! Moved earlier this year, so the basement is a mess with boxes. Hoping to move again in a couple of months, so need to organize/repack.
I rearranged the kitchen counters, moved the microwave and appliances around. In doing this the counters all got a thorough cleaning.
I also sorted through a huge pile of papers finally. I hate throwing stuff out. Having gone through the Immigration process in 2 different countries I still have it inbuilt in me to keep everything!!
My kid has a pal coming over. I know they'll mess up her room, but I'm hoping having a playmate here keeps her out of my hair so I can deep clean the kitchen and deal with laundry.
I washed yesterday and piled up on couch so I MUST get it put away today.
Moving in August into a new apartment (yay no more dingy basement with a kitchen in the living room). So I'm slowly boxing up winter clothes and other things that won't be needed in the next month and a half.
So far: 2 big boxes packed and the goose down duvet we use in winter has been washed, dried, folded and packed into its plastic bag.
