Two successes for me this past week. First, I actually lost two pounds in one week! Wow! And I've lost about six pounds in the last month. It finally started coming off. I'll add that I'm doing a lot of exercise, more than usual, so I'm betting that has something to do with it. Four more pounds lost and I'll be at the weight I was when I got married and my lowest weight in eight years.
Second and most important, my wife spontaneously told me a few days ago that she'd like to do the online Weight Watchers program. It's the first time in about a year that she's mentioned actually wanting to start a diet. As I have some money set aside, I told her to scrap the online thing and do the once-a-week in-person meeting if she wanted. It costs more, but it'll be worth it to have the support group behind you. She agreed and will start going to their meetings this week!
