Well, long story short, I wonder how many people fit into these descriptions.

Personally, I am the middle child of three children. Some of the traits apply to me but probably not because I'm the middle child. I am definitely secretive; I don't tell anyone anything sensitive or important to me unless it's anonymous. I don't think I developed this trait because I didn't get enough attention from my parents though. Rather, it's probably because I didn't have any friends for my first 5 years of school. Because of this, I also lack the social awareness to be a peacemaker and the like. Unlike the descriptions, I get the most attention in the family. My older brother was already in high school (and entering the 'never-there-to-talk-to-parents' stage) by the time I started pining for attention, so I got a fair share of love. My little sister grew up rather bratty, so I was also praised more for being "obedient".

I'm an only. I mostly fit the description.

I am also an only, and yep, the description fits--if I had to live in the same house as my family, I would go completely crazy.

Umm, just a tiny bit - last born here.

I am the baby and I think I fit fairly well. I was spoilt as a child and was also very social and outgoing.

The way my mother raised me didn't help me when she decided to leave me at age 15 though, not having taught me anything about financial responsibility etc.

At 36 I am still suffering that consequence.

I think I can find myself to some extent in this descriptions. I am the youngest child and I am quite competitive and perceived as spoiled. I'm so happy I have an older brother (four years older), I can't imagine being a single child.

Interesting... I came last, but 11 years later. I am the baby, but in a way I am also like the only child.

i am the oldest and i definitely fit the description....i have always been an achiever, reliable, responsible, goal-setter etc...i dont know if i'd consider myself a leader because i Do Not Like being in the spotlight or "center of attention" but i've always held management positions since i was about 20

I'm an only (hey, there are a lot of us on this thread!) and mostly fits, but more so when I was younger. I've always been extremely responsible (except when I'm not but I'd say especially as a kid/teenager, I was always very responsible) and I was always the kid who ended up talking to my friends parents more than my friends.

As an adult I'd say that stuff isn't quite as noticeable. Also I'm definitely far from a perfectionist. I have high expectations of myself but I'm rather haphazard about most things in my life.

I'm the youngest, I guess some bits fit but I could look at any of them and identify with the characteristics.

Sooo maybe I'm just indecisive

I'm the first born, and I do fit the description pretty well! Definitely a compliant people pleaser, but when I assume the position of leader I definitely run with it I adore being in control.

I am youngest of 6... Spoilt, indulged, irresponsible, good fun... but sometimes picked on by the rest?? Hmmm yeeeeeah that is so meeee!!! I <3 being the baby!
