Default Recommend me an Amazon purchase

I have £20 to spend on Amazon (UK)

I'd really like to buy something to aid in my weight loss & fitness.

I'm going to try to move to adding two sessions of muscle-strengthening into my week (I get my aerobic from cycling, at the moment, and hope to move on to running when I've shifted a bit of weight). I thought maybe a book / DVD / equipment for muscle-strengthening but, I am open to all suggestions!

So, is there anything you'd recommend I buy?! Anything that really helped you?

I'm always happy to help people spend money!

Not sure if these instructors are available on amazon uk, but.....

Cathe Friedrich has the best muscle conditioning workouts. Even though she's advanced don't like that scare you. You will definitely have room to grow, but she is challenging. She does have a couple of beginner workouts, but just check out her website or youtube to preview. She likes the barbell, but I used dumbbells at first just fine.

Stephanie Vitorino has a great workout called Body Target 60

Jillian Michael No More Trouble Zones. Yes it is hard, but very good workout. Of course there's 30 day shred and her other workouts that may fit the bill too.

A good place to preview workouts by type is collagevideo.com. You can then go back to amazon.com and see if you can purchase videos you find interesting.

A digital food scale if you don't have one. A big helper for me. Other options: a pedometer, good water bottle, perhaps a fitness video or mp3 player? Imagine you're setting out on a journey to get fit for the rest of your life, and you have this opportunity to buy some gear to take with you!

All great suggestions. I will definitely check out those videos!

Yes, this is a lifelong aim so it would definitely be good to have something to take with me!
