Default What are you eating tonight?

Tonight i am making a spicy chicken stir-fry - chicken breast, loads of veggies, brown rice and spicy szechuan sauce, yummy and less than 500 calories

What are some of your fave things to eat? I love anything spicy, so finding a lower calorie recipe is great, instead of the usual saturday night takeaway curry.

I've got garlic and herb chicken breast veggies and rice tonight, nothing too heavy coz i can't really eat much when it's warm.

My faves tho are home made meatballs and chicken korma... I'm a sucka for that!!

The thing is, I don't even miss fry ups or chips. Man thing has pizza tonight, and when I see it on his plate, it just looks icky. But he needs to put weight on, not loose it... GIT!!

I never liked stir-fry as a kid, so I never make it now. But my brother's planning to cook me one soon, and everything going into it sounds good, so fingers crossed I'll end up with a new healthy meal in my repertoire!

Tonight I'm having a bit of poached cod, with broccoli and green beans. The boyfriend's having pork steak, mashed potato, and kiddie vegetables (he'll only eat peas, sweetcorn and carrots). Mine probably sounds a bit bland, but I'm ridiculously into broccoli these days, I can't get enough of the stuff.

Brid i go through veg obsessions too - the current one being swede and carrot mash. yum! i could quite happily eat it on it's own.
tonight i had it with Maggi's so juicy: mixed herb chicken it's one of those bake in the bag jobbies. there's a few different flavours that i enjoy and because i'm not cooking for a family it leaves me leftovers for salads & sandwiches for a couple of days

Big egg white omelete with asparagus, mushrooms, onions, and spinach. Yum yum Probably a baked apple, too.

Haven't been here for a while - over the last few days I've started easing myself back into eating better after going off the rails for about 6 months. Tonight I'm doing a bbcgoodfood recipe for turkey steaks with citrus and ginger sauce with some new potatoes and steamed broccoli and round beans. It's quite easy and tasty, though I leave out the grapefruit and stick to an orangey sauce.

A bit of a mish-mash of a salad....Baby green leaves, couscous, butter beans, an egg and some feta cheese, with honey & mustard dressing.

Sounds v. random but was yummy!

Tonight I had a lazy tea, cooked some wholemeal pasta, then made a sauce of passata, garlic, fresh tomato, green pepper, courgette, freshly ground pepper and chili flakes, then added the pasta and a load of peas at the last minute. Edible rather than delicious, but I wanted something veg filled as I feel lurgy coming on, and low cal/fat cos I need to get back on it this week!
