My boys (age 12 and 13) want me to take them to Canada to fish. Ironic, because where we live, people consider to be a fishing destination, but it's over fished.

They are hard-core fisherman and can handle anything. They want a remote fly-in type vaca.

The one that was recommended was Nueltin but it's $4500 per person!!!

Does anyone have a recommendation for something nice but cheaper?

We live in Northern WI, so it would be nice if we could drive there - central Canada.

Look up Esnagami Lodge. DH and DS12 are going back for a 2nd year. The pike and walleye are AWESOME, they said the guides were fantastic, and they couldn't wait to go back. Much less than the $$$ you mentioned!

Come out this way to Port Hardy, BC. We have saltwater and freshwater fishing. Saltwater fishing is huge right now in the summer but we do have fly fishing out here in the rivers. Its gorgeous out here, remote and its cheap to stay out here at one of are really nice hostels ( i should know, i used to work at one of them) Look us up @ google... Port Hardy,BC
