I am a 19 year old student who has never been happy with her body. So now I'm taking charge and going on the Ideal Protein diet starting next week. I really want to lose 50 pounds this summer, hopefully I can make this a reality.
I decided to join this forum for support in order to achieve my goal
Heyy! I'm 19 from Canada too!
I'm not doing the ideal protein diet but I figured we still might have some things in common.
Where in Canada are you from?
WOW, look at all the Canadians on this thread; glad you joined us here. We have a Canadian Thread in the Support Groups Forum -- please drop by and visit some time -- we'd love to hear from you all ...
Btw, there is also an Ideal Protein Group, and a 20-Somethings forum where lots of young people hang out as well.

Bonjour, Canadians! I don't mean to intrude on your thread, but I have a question for you all. I live in the U.S. and am on the Ideal Protein diet (about a week into it so far), and discovered much to my dismay that I am HIGHLY allergic to Sucralose, which is used in all the sweet IP stuff that's sold here in the U.S. My doctor told me to call the Canadian IP corporate office and ask if I could order my products from them or a Canadian distributor since you guys apparently get your sweets made with Stevia. I called and they said no, I could only buy them from an individual person in Canada, and not the main office or a distributor. SO... here's my question -- would anyone of my "northern neighbors" be willing to do a partnership with me? I could swap our U.S. IP products for the same box of products from Canada (paying the difference in cost plus shipping, of course), or would any of you be willing to simply sell me your IP sweet products? I am happy to pay you for your time, shipping, difference in cost, etc. I am so missing the sweet stuff and can't find anything even close here in the states. Thanks!
Yay for Canada! I'm right in the middle, so quite a distance from you. Welcome here! Your goal is similar to mine, though you're going 15 lbs further. Best of luck!
Justwant- didn't realize there was a Canadian thread, i'll go check that out!
Hey Kat! I'm not Canadian but I spend a lot of time in Sask with my bf (he's canadian). I'm quite a ways from Saskatoon though! Just thought I'd give ya a shout out.
