Smile I'm not dropping any pounds

:c arrot:

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. I haven't seen much difference in my weight yet, but hopefully I am making better choices, and I haven't gained anything just haven't lost yet either. I know the other day I went too many hours without food and went overboard when I finally got a chance to eat. I'll have to start bringing a lunch to work. Has anybody had any luck with nutrisystem? I tried to go on line and see if I couldn't just make the food myself, but they want you to buy their food which is too pricey for me right now. I am going to try to get out and get some exercise this afternoon. We are actually having a beautiful day.

Sorry you have yet to lose. Calorie counting works great once you figure out how much of a calorie deficit you personally need and find a way to stick with the program. Also, give yourself some time. It's great you are out and about getting some exercise and making better food choices.

About a couple of weeks. I find if i allow myself to get too hungry I have a harder time controlling what i eat. I am thinking of starting a speedwalking program. It may help burn a few more calories

Right there with you jmNwis50! It would be nice to see a reduction in the scale when we feel we are putting the work in. As you say at least you are making the right choices and not gaining! I am going to try lowering my calorie count for a loss of 1lb a week as the amount for 1/2lb weekly, which I would have been happy with just doesn't seem to be working! Never tried Nutrisystem but do recommend the increase in exercise as it should help shape up your body along with your eating plan! Good luck.

Exercise might help you create more of a deficit, but it shouldn't be relied on for weight loss. You should do it because it's good for you

How many calories are you eating? Also, are you positive you're eating that amount? Sometimes if we're not measuring we can be pretty off on the amount we're eating!

I am thinking of starting back with running. I like it because all you really have to have is a decent pair of running shoes. I eat about 1500 calories a day usually. Alot of time a little less because i am afraid that i have miscalculated. i usually try and give myself 50 calorie leeway. Thankyou for your input, I think the exercise thing is a good idea
