Default SBD Chat - Monday, April 30th

Good morning. It's Vanilla Biscotti again although I was tempted to use Newman's and put a maple sugar candy in the cup. I just threw out the rest of the candies that were favours at Saturday's wedding.

The last day of April, finally! We are at 27ºF right now but they say the temps will get up to 61 this afternoon. There is hope! I know I talk about the weather a lot but I'm a gardener and am getting a bit frustrated although I know the end of May is the safe time.

My gym buddies wimped out today. Donna has to go to Kingston to baby sit and Doreen, the professional hypochondriac, is "enjoying poor health" as my Dad used to say. I am forging ahead anyhow since I really need to work on my poor neglected body. (Anybody notice that I've retired the ticker?)

Later today, I plan to drive down to Kingston to get some backing for quilts for VQC. Fabric is much, much cheaper at Joanne's across the border but I really can't spare the time to go to Watertown or Ogdensburg. Kingston is about 50 minutes each way and I just might sneak into a garden centre on the way home.

So how does your last day of April look from this part of the day? Sit and sip a bit and chat.

Good morning Ruth! I think I might have to buy a Keurig, just so I can try all these flavors you ladies keep chatting about . Good for you for going to the gym by yourself, that's tough to do. Enjoy your fabric trip!!

It is normally my surgery day, but (I don't think) I have any surgeries. OH. DARNED. I haven't had one of these in a looong time. But I have such big plans (I'm on call still, so I can't go far)...scrub the kitchen and bathroom floors without kiddos around. Sounds exciting doesn't it?! THen grocery shopping, then out for a run/hike. I think the weather is supposed to be beautiful today!

Hey, my exciting coffee today is that I mixed it 1/2 and 1/2 with decaf, both hubbie and I could use less!! Whew, what a life I lead!

Pike Place coffee for me this morning, until my big order of Newman's comes. Andrea and I combined our orders so we wouldn't have to pay for shipping.

Today's not looking too bad, for a Monday. And at least we'll enjoy the sunshine today since it's supposed to rain the rest of the week. I'm a gardener, too, so the rain will be appreciated, as long as we're not deluged with it.

Weezle, thanks for the report on the Mocha Nut Fudge coffee. I did order a 5-pack sample, and I'll let you know how I like it.

Good morning. Chilly, but warming up later. Taking a ride north to garden for my friend. Looking forward to the quiet there. Will pack a P1 lunch and snacks as I was a naughty girl yesterday. I am not beating myself up over it. Actually I resisted a lot of favorites. A day or two on P1 and I should be good to go for my May goal.....time to annoy the teenage son so he makes the bus, enjoy your day

Good morning. All those yummy flavors sound so tempting. I gave up flavored coffee when I started drinking it black. It just isn't as good without sweetener and whitener. Once a year I do indulge in a cup of pumpkin spice though, it's still my favorite.

Just working on the errands, appointments, and exhibit prep again. That's my whole week. Might make an appointment with a lawyer just to help clarify things.

Hope your Monday is a breeze

And another Monday rolls around...

My "work" dinner was cancelled last night; I guess several people couldn't make it at the last minute. I think it would have been fun but was glad not to eat out two nights back-to-back.

Off to the gym with my mom and trainer this morning. Hair cut and color this afternoon. Haven't thought beyond that yet.

Have a great day, all.

Morning ladies!
Everyone sounds busy! Starting today with six hours of sleep 35 mim drive to work with sharrd car and a 3 hour wait before I begin work! Well one hour now. Had a medium nf sf vanilla icedd latte from mcdonalds. No food! Yay! I'm lucky today, only a four hour shift today. Cleaning to do at the apartment and since the bf gets off today when I do, so this means the elliptical will finally get put together.
Brothers wedding is May 19. Dreading it. Down 8 pounds from 13 days ago!

Enjoy your day!

Good Morning

Yesterday went well but we got home pretty late. I could have slept in but work calls....I've got to go get everything lined out because I'm doing my hair this morning and it will be down to the wire.

I haven't even thought about dinner yet. Fortunately my smoothie and homemade lunch will keep me OP until I figure the rest out.

Have a great day everyone!

Vanilla Biscotti for me today too! Not bad, tasted pretty good to me. I'm super tired coming back to work today after having 3 days of sleeping in. My body just wants 9 hours of sleep, that's all there is to it! Never a good sign when Chris asks me if I'm ok 10 times and then says "you look REALLY tired." Thank you.

Boring day at work today. Just plugging along. Ready to go home, put my comfies on, and relax. The rain and clouds have been horrible on my mood. Ohhhh TOM is coming Thurs too. That could also be part of it.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous day!

Lisa
