Last weekend we were on the road and stopped at a Hardee's for lunch. I whipped out my weight watchers Dining Out book and ordered 3 chicken strips and mashed potatoes with gravy. I was really really really surprised that the chicken strips were only 3 points for 3 (5 points for their 5 strip order). They were really good. I don't even know if I could make the same strips at home for 3 points which got me thinking how can Hardee's make them for 3 points. I logged onto their website hoping to get their nutritional value but they don't have them posted. I emailed the company and am waiting for a reply back. I am really concerned that perhaps they were incorrectly labeled in the book and that they were meant to be 3 points EACH (too depressing to think about).
Anybody else have a similar experience with Hardee's chicken strips?
Well I went back on and I could access the information. Weird. I must have tried 2 or 3 times. Nice to know that I am obsessing for nothing.
FYI to everyone else - Those are VERY good chicken strips and my order of fast food choices has changed as a result to: 1. Subway 2. Hardee's and 3. Wendy's.
Thanks for the help. Nice to know there is somewhere to post these questions to as they come up. I always get really fast responses that put my mind at ease.
