Smile Newby here!

Hey everyone!

I've been lurking here for a couple of days. I really like what I see. I hope this place will give the love and support I need!

I'm a classic yo-yo. professional dieter if you will. I've lost and gained over 90 lbs at least 3 times in my lifetime. I know what I should eat and what I shouldn't. I know that what worked for me 20 years ago won't necessarily work for me now.

I feel like I belong here because back in 2009, I topped out at 313. After that, I had dropped 50. felt great. But fell off again, & gained back 30.

My main motivation is trying to get some of this weight off my joints. Hips & knees hurt all the time. I'm to young to feel this damn old.

Yes, I work out. at least 4 times a week. body sculpting, weights, zumba, step aerobics, arc-trainer.

I just need a place to feel comfy. I feel comfy here already!

I'm new also, and I have the same problem with my knees. Hopefully I haven't done to much damage and as the weight comes off they feel better. Good luck to the both of you.

Good luck to you guys as well. I just came from the gym. I did 20 minutes on the arc-trainer. It's my fav machine. It allows me to have a long stride because my legs are longer than most. Plus it's low impact. I'm not coordinated on a treadmill. I don't enjoy any of it, but it's definitely necessary. That's my lunch break. Now, back to work!
