Unhappy As my weight is dropping...so is my mood?

I absolutely dont know why this is happening but, im starting to notice that the more pounds i lose, the more "down" i feel.
I could not wait to be under 150lbs and yesterday i weighed in and i was 148.6lbs. I have not been at this weight since last August. Yes of course i was happy to see that number but as the day went on i got into a bleh mood. Not because i ate anything bad but i just dont know?

Has this happened to anyone? did it go away?

Losing weight is overwhelming i know so im not too worried, but i feel i should be feeling great especially now that i got off a plateu i was on. I know im getting smaller, people are definately noticing too from coworkers to family. thanks to anyone reading this silly rant <3

You may have expectations that you life will get better because you lose weight and the "let down" is realizing that you are exactly the same person as you were before, you just weigh less. Maybe join a class or start a project where the "goal" is something other than weight loss (while staying on your weight loss journey, of course). The satisfaction from running a mile or creating a knitted scarf or learning new yoga poses might be more enjoyable than just "yay, I weigh below 150."

I agree that it could be in the mental bucket.

If you started out thinking that losing weight would solve other problems -- coming to find that it doesn't is a bit of a let down. Like if you were shy, just losing weight doesn't magically give you new social skills. Those get shaped up in other ways.

On the other hand, when was your last physical? How are you losing weight? Perhaps the let down reason is in the physical bucket? Could you be deficient in vitamins? Or a hormone prob?

GL!
A.

I agree with the other two posts. I had a different thought, too. For me it feels like as I lose weight I get less and less excited about just 1 pound. It's like...losing 1 pound has happened 24 times before so...big deal that I lost another one. It's actually starting to make me lose some motivation i gotta figure it out

I felt the same way for a short period of time. It got better. A whole lot better.

I've been on depo for over a year do I know it doesn't have to do with hormones/TOM and I take vitamin supplements.

My life has been exactly the same, actually in a way it has gotten better because of my job?
I guess in the back of my mind I feel like when I do reach my weight goal I will still be unhappy with my body? I kick myself over in the head because I forgot to take a "before" picture because I feel like I need that visual proof that my body will change. It's kind of scary to think what my body will morph into...
