Yesterday when my SO came into the kitchen and easily pantsed me while I was wearing jeans...jeans that were done up and belted... I decided it might be time for some new pants.
So off I went, and over to my regular rack. I figured that I could probably safely go down from the 24 I had been wearing (that were pretty baggy now), so I grabbed a 22, and (optimistically) a 20. The 22s were no better than the 24s... and the 20s were still a little loose!!

I joyfully grabbed an 18 off the rack, paid, and went home.
Lo and behold, I put on my crisp new jeans this morning... AND THE WAISTBAND IS STILL TOO BIG!!! I felt like crying out of sheer happiness. I haven't really kept track of my measurements, only my weight, and just the idea that I might be able to fit into a 16 sometime soon (I think it would be a little muffin-y if I were to attempt it right now) is almost too much to handle. That I might be able to venture into a non-plus store before summer makes me all giddy and tingly.

One step closer to my 'be able to buy jeans from The Gap/Warehouse One' goal!!
As it turns out, I've lost 6" off my hips and over 8" off my waist since I last measured. What a boost!
