Default Does soy sauce count as sodium or do I still need to have our salt?

Hi, On some days I use 1 tbsp of soy sauce with my dinner. Does the sodium in soy sauce considered salt? (I usually don't consume our full amount of real salt needed either, my coach said that was okay.)

Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

sodium is sodium and it all counts.

just use your personal taste - salt is the one nutrient you can regulate by taste alone.

i rarely RARELY add salt to my food and my sodium intake is still usually around 1000mg/day just in what's in the food i eat (such as canned tuna). but sometimes i get a craving for salt so i sprinkled some on a slice of tomato. yummy!
