Default New to Site- Insanity

Hi I'm Nicole,

I'm 25 mom of 2 wife of my prince charming.

Well, we've both gotten comfortable and lazy and we packed on the pounds.

I actually weigh more now then when I have birth to our daughter 0.o

As of yesterday, we've made the commitment together to shed the pounds with the help of Shawn T's Insanity!

Let me just tell you, I knew I was out of shape... but that Fit Test IS NO JOKE!!

By the end of the 25 mins we were both hurting and physically a wreck!
But let me tell you this, I've worked out in the past with a trainer and after day 1 I never went back...

Shawn T is a genius because he makes you challenge yourself! I'm sore in places I never knew could be sore, but I can't wait to get home to do the full 45 min work out tonight, Why? Because in 2 weeks we have to do the fit test again and I'm determined to do better.

I'm excited to take my life back! And its great to have him right there suffering with me!!

I can't wait to be able to meet other women who are working towards a goal.

I have my goal weight set to 130lbs, but you know what I'm just looking forward to being healthy again to run with my kids and not be out of breath! And to finally say good bye to the nicotine demon!!

Hey there and welcome!

My boyfriend and I started instanity months ago but didn't stick with it. I'm considering trying again because like you, I really liked how it was set up and the areas of the body Shawn T focuses on. BUT - 30lbs ago it was just wayyyy to hard on my ankles.

Congrats to you for taking control and thats great that your hubby is suffering right there with you

Thanks!! Hubby's Aunt does Insanity and she's had 4 knee surgeries so the jumps are hard for her, she suggested modifying some of the moves so that they do not cause a lot of pain and since they are just modified basic work outs its not hard to do.

Maybe modifying some of the moves with help with the ankles?

I do love the challenge with myself I don't have to prove anything to anyone but myself and that's the hardest battle of them all!

Welcome! And I've done one month of Insanity, and that workout is SERIOUS business. So intense. I'm not a fan of cardio so it's hard for me. I'm currently on Chalean Extreme.
