Good morning! You will be pleased to know I made it out to the road with the trash this week. It's supposed to be there by 6:30 but the lads seldom show until after 7:30. Today they may be a bit earlier since it's going to be another day of record breaking heat. Then we get back to nearly normal for the weekend. I'm hoping that means rain instead of the usual March snow since my snow tires are off now.
Not much on the schedule today although I'm sure I'll find something to "put in the time"! Some garden tidying will definitely happen and the back deck prepped for power washing. Of course that means I need to turn on the outside water which I'm a tad reluctant to do since it seems so early.
Tonight I have a Fair Board Meeting which will involve planning for the Syrup Festival in April. The big concern now is getting enough maple syrup from local producers as the yield is way down this year because of the strange weather. The maples are all in flower now which means the buckets have been pulled. We might have to import syrup from Quebec!
Time for a healthy breakfast of Florida strawberries and Fibre 1 and then on with the day. Come and chat a bit.
Good morning! Today might be our last record-breaking warmth day, high 70's to low 80's. But the cooler temps coming will be higher than our regular average.
Yesterday I did rake most of the stones from our driveway, that get shoveled onto the lawn, back onto the driveway Raked the dog poo area, though Eddie had been very good all winter and selected a far-away area so that job hardly took any time at all
Washed and shined up my bike and rode to meet my husband at his work, so that was a nice 80 mile round trip Today is laundry and whatever else
Holly - raking the stones sounds like a pretty good work out. Isn't this weather glorious?u
Ruth - I assume you'll merge these threads. I also assume your day will fill up as normal!
Speaking of filling up, I initially was going to go swimming this am (right about now, since the kids just left on the bus), and then realized I have 6 boys sleeping over tomorrow night and a dirty house. So, I've got sheets in the wash, and will mop the kitchen floor shortly. Unfortunately I need to go to Wally World (aka walmart) to get lots of food etc for hungry growing boys. Since I work til 7, it'll be a long day!
Thank goodness for leftover moroccan tagine in the fridge!
Good morning As Holly said it's our last super warm day for a little while (though the local station pointed out we will be 20 degrees cooler tomorrow but still 20 degrees above the normal temp so I'm not complaining!). I'm going to make the most of it. Off to run errands this morning then getting a walk or bike ride in this afternoon.
Ruth - Glad you're seeing the doctor soon. Our maple producers have been worried about weather too. it was a tough year for them.
Holly - Enjoy the day! We only had 3 plows this season and the stones are still all over my yard. How does he do that?
Twynn - good luck today (and tomorrow!). hope you get a few minutes to breath
Cottage - love your creative acronym Hope the day whizzes by and your weekend arrives soon
Okay, if I get moving fast I should be able to get everything done and still have some time to get outside and play.
good morning Linda, Cyndi and Twynn! Twynn, wow 6 boys to sleep over..that's allota pancakes the next morning Cyndi, I stood outside at 6:20 am and was just transfixed by hearing the birds..one of my favorite things in the world

Hello to all, our temps are down for the next couple of days and we have rain, I am hoping it will start soon because my allergies are in full gear and I need the rain to wash all the pollen away lol
Tonight there is a reading program at school for DD2 so I will be taking her to that.
Hi ladies.
Nothing special planned today except the gym and laundry. It's raining, and that is a good thing because the pollen here was so high. My husband and boys have really been suffering from allergies.
Good morning!
I'm appreciating all this great weather but it sure does make it harder to stay at work all day. Had a couple of rough days this week but I'm making myself get back on plan. Did good yesterday and have my meals planned for today which always helps.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Twynn- Ah, boy sleepovers. I remember those days. Hopefully they'll actually sleep!
Linda - Me too!
Cyndi - Enjoy your time outdoors.
Rose and Tiffany - Hmm... I hadn't thought about that benefit to the rain we've been having. My allergies have been bad too lately.
Kelly - Planning really does help. Here's to a great OP day.
DH and I are going to see the Titanic exhibit today that's in town for a couple of weeks. Wow, I got pretty much nothing else to say! Eating is still OP. Woo hoo for that.
Ruth and others enjoying the warmth, I am envious of your recording breaking heat Lucky!!! Can't wait for Spring to actually get here.
Yesterday me and my boyfriend decided we are going to the Mayan Riviera this December, so now I really really need to get motivated.
I went to Mexico with my sister in 2010, and I did not loose any weight for the trip, and felt a little uncomfortable the whole time. At that time I was about 138 lbs. I really want to be there and feeling hot in a bikini, taking pics And not worry about what I'm going to wear to cover my belly etc.
My morning went completely out of control....DH need consoling after our visit w/his DD yesterday then mom called and wanted to leave 10 minutes early....I flew out the door. Driving across Denver I felt anxious and unsettled ....decided it was just because I didn't get my "me" time which is when I check in with you all.
Food OP today and I have a plan for tonight. The trees are budding in Denver and my sweater was too much clothing.
I'll see ya'll tomorrow morning (hopefully) although I do have to work at 630am. I have found some time now that I'm home....I'm coloring my hair and catching up here.
