Default Goal to lose 100lbs!

My name is Molly and I have been overweight all of my life. I want to lose 100lbs and have no idea how to actually start. I signed up for a gym membership and started working out but I cant get passed this binging thing. I think i have a serious problem. I just dont want to lose motivation this time around. I have a history of self sabotage. Can you guys give me some advice as to how you stay motivated day to day. losing 100 lbs is a very daunting task.

MOLLY ~ you have come to the right place; lots of people here with the same issues as you. We have a forum for losing 100 lbs and a bingers forum too. I am a former binger myself -- learning to manage my emotions better these days. Still have to work at it daily though, as life always seems to throw stressors our way. Get one thing sorted out, and something new comes along. I made a thread about EMOTIONAL EATING: HOW TO HEAL; it is posted in the Faith Forum. Read the whole thread; I think it may be helpful regardless of one's beliefs ...

Lots of plans, info, ideas, advice, tips, and support here. Take a good look around and jump right in wherever you like, and enjoy yourself ...
