Good morning Beachy Chicks

I never did get back yesterday. It was just one of those days

Today is an at home day so everything is much more relaxed this morning.
Debbie - Your breakfast dinner sounds yummy. I might make one of those myself. Congratulations on the almost closed books!
Kelly - hope you can stay dry today
Cottage - Sounds like a fun, busy day yesterday. I hope there's some good coffee in your hand now. Would love to send you a cup of mine, freshly ground and just made, but I still haven't figured out how to get it through the internet.
Twynn - Have a good beachy day
Holly- The 10 day forecast looks great and I bet your ice will be gone soon. We are into full mud season around here as I was reminded last night driving up a road I know better than to drive on in mud season. Poor car.
Hope the nice weather holds out for your days off.
Once I get moving this morning we are going to head off birding. The farm fields are flooded and you never know what you might find. Friends found two rare geese yesterday, so we will have to check those flocks thoroughly. Right now I'm just enjoying first of the years - kingfishers, mockingbirds, killdeer, and other spring arrivals. I do feel kind of sorry for people stuck behind me this time of year. After that it's errands, chores, and the ever present LIST.
I'm getting solidly back on track again. I do well with daily lists, started with 4 items the first week and added 2 more for the upcoming week. I update it every night, so there's no escape from reporting in. It's been a real challenge figuring out how to manage my food. By the time I've taken care of DW's food with all the planning and prep that goes into it then the dish washing, I just haven't had energy to think much about my own food. I've been doing far too much grab what's available and not enough thinking about my own choices. The fear of the summer clothes bins has my attention now though.
