Just needed to post how my day went, so I can see it for future reference! As of today, I have began my new "abstenance" plan according to OA. I did SO good, I'm SO proud of myself! I only ate my 3 meals for the whole day, no snacks (that's where I start the binging)...even turned down 2 - that's right 2 cupcakes!!! Also, I am making sure to eat the right kinds of foods by using the WW points plan. I only went over by 6, so I used some of my weekly extra allowance! AND I logged everything I ate! YAY ME!!
Thanks for the encouragement guys! I have been abstinent for 5 whole days! And am down 6 whole stinkin' pounds!! Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP!!! Still logging everything I eat, and ONLY eating at meal time! God is SO good! I have realized how dependent upon his power I really am! I know HE is the One taking my cravings/binging away! YAY for a GREAT 1st week! Lets see how the weekend goes!
Hello all...ugh...what a horrible person I am...I know I was doing so well...then spring break hit along with a ladies retreat..and now I'm having such a hard time getting back on track PLUS my surgery is only a few weeks away, so I'm really freaking out about the LOTS of extra pounds I'm carrying around, so what do I do????? EAT because of the stress....HELP PLEASE!!! Someone kick my tail into gear!
Oh, just remember how happy and accomplished you felt when you started this thread, wouldn't you want to get those feelings back? You seemed so proud of yourself and I was getting such positive vibes from you! I hope you get back on track, I know you're strong enough to do this! *hugs*
Thank you Natasha! I've been more conscience of my eating - definitely not abstaining YET, but conscience is a step. I even walked in place in my living room when I got home from work today, after a snack of course...but I did move during a tv show....
