Default Bought myself a treadmill

It was my grandpa's that he bought after his last knee replacement. He is going to be going into a nursing home soon so he needs to get rid of it and needs the money as well.

I am excited. I took all the kids to the school track/football field today and walked 3/4 of a mile. And while that was nice, there were some high schoolers there who were practicing for baseball, and I didn't feel comfortable.

My brother in law and nephew will be bringing it over later today. Cant wait!!

Congratulations! I am hoping to get an exercise bike for christmas. I definitely don't feel like working out in public.

Congrats!!! I know it must be exciting. I can't wait until I get myself one or an elliptical. I don't want to exercise in public. I feel more comfortable at home

Thumbs up

I just bought my first treadmill ever a few weeks ago and I love it!

I was using a local park to walk in. With the treadmill, it's great not to have to worry about how you look, or what the weather is or what time it is. I HAVE walked in the rain a number of times which sucked! I won't have to do that anymore.

Also, the incline on the treadmill is great to get my heart going and break a really good sweat. I bought mine brand new and will be paying for it over the next 12 months, but to me - so worth it!

I would love an elliptical because it is easier on the knees.

Hmmm, I've never been on one of those before. Didn't even think of it as an option. My last trip to a gym was in the 90s and I don't remember them..ha!

Also, in the back of my mind is the ultimate goal of running! Which I can't remember doing since middle school. This treadmill is gonna be my buddy!
