Default I totally just failed at this diet thing

I am having a blah day.

DH left for two weeks in the field this morning. He just got back from a field trip a couple of weeks ago, so I'm not really feeling it this time. I know it's important training, but I'm just not in the mood. It's also "that time of the month" so I'm emotional as it is. And I'm pretty sure I just undid all of my dieting by ordering a $10 Dinner Box from Pizza Hut for dinner. I didn't eat the whole thing (miraculously) but I made quite the dent. So, now I feel even worse than I did before.

In the plus side, though, my dogs are being remarkably well behaved even though I definitely cut their walk in half today.

Bah. I'm just going to watch Pretty Little Liars then snuggle up with my pups and make it an early night. I'll take advantage of having the car by going to the gym early tomorrow and having a nice, healthy breakfast. Hopefully starting the morning off better tomorrow will inspire the entire day to be better as well.

That's the spirit! Dust yourself off and start again tomorrow. One off day won't undo your diet.

You did not fail, it's just a little bump in the road. If you keep working at it, there's no way you can call that a failure

We all have bad days. It sounds like really you only had one bad meal. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, vow that next meal will be better. Maybe go for a walk or something for a mood pick-me-up.

You know that you had a down moment and are willing to pick your self back up dont let this stop you from continuing to do what you want! Keep your head up girl just dont let this be your excuse for quitting and youll be fine!

Sometimes you just need a blah day. Especially after you have to put up with your hubby coming and going. Tomorrow is a new day.

And ... get rid of ALL of those leftovers from that box... don't keep it around to tempt you - even in the freezer. Drink plenty of water after all the sodium and have a great workout tomorrow!

I just took the dogs out for another walk because they started being babies and crying. I actually do feel a lot better from it. A little more energetic. I might clean the bath tub and take a nice shower before starting in on my homework. Amazing what walking for 20 minutes can do for a person's mood!

I've alreadyy done that. Interestingly because my little dog hopped up on the table and started licking the pizza. that coupled with their insistence at a second walk is making me feel like maybe the puppies want me to lose some weight!

You didn't have the BEST day but you didn't fail. Why, because you have a plan to get back up. Here's to a great rest of the evening....

You didn't fail. You just had one little day off track. Start again tomorrow. Take things one day at a time. There will always be rough days, and smooth days. Enjoy the ride!!!

As everyone said, you didn't fail! Food can be a comfort or stress-reliever, but we just have to retrain ourselves to not allow it to be! Sounds like you've already picked yourself up and are well on your way to working that pizza out of your system.

If you wanted, I wouldn't mind being accountability buddies. Lord knows I could use one myself. lol

It seems easier to say we failed and kind of fall even more off track. But one meal doesn't make or break you, so long as you understand that one bad meal can't turn into 5 to 6 and even if they do as long as you know you can recover from it. Yay for taking the doggies out for a walk! Burn up some of them calories, girl!
