Good morning Chicklets! There's already a faint glimmer of the coming sunrise in the Eastern sky, and it's not even 6:30 yet. I love it!

It looks like today is going to be a baking day. Audrey "forgot" to tell us that she signed us up for providing rice krispie bars and banana bread for the Talent Show tomorrow night, and I got the phone call at 8pm last night to stop by the store on the way over this morning.

The cold that Ruth so generously shared with me is almost gone, and I hope hers is much better, too. She had it a lot worse than me, poor girl.

OK, time to unwrap the ribbons on this brand new day!

Good morning Cottage Are we really the only ones up?
I've been up since 5 so am hoping there will be a nap in my future. I'm not good at naps anymore but did manage one the other day.

Not much going on here today. DW's only appointment is the close PT, so we get to stick around here. I may join you in baking. I found a recipe for gluten free carrot cake muffins that uses pulp so maybe some juice to start my day and then muffins I can live with that Other than that same old stuff around here.

It's a gray day, I'm sure that means extra coffee. Can I get anyone a cup? I'm currently hooked on the Full City Roast from Vermont Coffee Company. Love trying new roasters

I'm undoing the ribbons here too after sleeping until 7. So nice to wake to daylight. even if it is cloudy today. It's great to sleep through the night without coughing too! The worst of my cold is over - maybe because I shared it.

Realized yesterday that I'd forgotten the end of year financial report for Victoria's Quilts. This morning I'll cobble that together and then go to town for printer ink to print the darn thing. Fair Board Meeting tonight but I do intend to have an afternoon nap to shake the rest of this cold.

It sure feels like spring out there. There's still snow but the side walk is now ice-free and the spring flood is started in the dog yard. I know it will get cold again and March is always snowy but, in the meantime, I'm enjoying psuedo-Spring. Time to hang the pu$$ywillow wreath and encourage her! (Might even take down the outside lights!)

Hmmm - I'd sure like a Rice Krispie square with my coffee.

Hi, Cyndi, I'll settle for a hunk of carrot cake too. I'm drinking Newman's Extra Bold or I'd share.

I think it's time to start our gardening thread. I'm ready to get my seeds going and put row covers on. Sun would make those row covers work better, but one step at a time

Good morning!

Debbie - Love the avatar!

Linda - Ah, the scent of banana bread. Sigh. Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Cyndi - I'd be much better at naps if my heavy footed husband didn't always seem to walk in the room the minute I fall asleep! The muffins sound yummy.

Ruth - It's still dark here at almost 7. Guess that's because you are so much farther east? We had a warm day yesterday but the cold is creeping back.

I've got yoga this morning. Then getting my hair cut and colored. Then meeting up with a former boss to chat and for coffee. I'm sure we'll talk a lot about my whole job/interview thing. She's a great person to bounce stuff off and I'm lucky that we are still "friends" 15 years after I quit working for her

Did I tell you all that I've got something weird going on with my toes that I think is from yoga? Seems even the gentlest of exercise can wreak weird havoc on my body!

Have a great Thursday!

Good Morning

I've been up but my arm isn't in the typing mode...a bit better though. I've got food planned for the day and will formulate the rest of my plans based on my ability to get a chiro appt. (After the pool, of course).

Holly, I hope you're feeling better soon!

Ruth and Linda, glad to hear you're both on the mend.

Cyndi, glad your day is close to home! Really? Gardening?

Karen, enjoy your lunch w/your ex boss. I'm wondering what your toes are doing?

Have a great day everyone!

First they had red spots on some, near the nails or tip, then the tips of all got dry and flaky. I assumed that all came from the disinfectant wipes I was using on the gym's mats. So I brought my own mat. Now I have two toes, next to pinkies on each foot, that are sometimes numb, sometimes sore as if bruised, and the tips are pretty red. My trainer thinks it is pressure from a yoga pose (maybe barefoot planks). Today I'm going to wear socks and I'll do planks on my knees for a while and see if things change.

Some days it seems like my body is falling apart all over! Have I talked about my new IT band issues? Eeek.

Good morning everyone,

Gardening, you gals are an industrious lot- lol if the weather keeps it up thought you could definitely start planting soon.

I am still busy trying to get as much done as possible this week. Some of the water retention from the past weekend is gone just a bit more to go and I will be right back on track.

Have a great day everyone.
