I'm sorry I post so much..but when did you start to see overall results?
This kind of plays into the collar bone thing. When did you actually see yourself slimming down, not just when you put on a new pair of pants, but in general? I can't see a change, but my family and friends say they can..
The best way to notice a change is to compare a recent picture of yourself with one of you at your higher weight -- you'll definitely notice a difference. For example, I didn't think I looked that different until I looked at my college ID picture that I took when I was a freshman 4 years ago, and about 30-40lbs heavier, too. I look a lot thinner than I did then.
^^^ I agree, try to find a photo to compare to. Last spring I lost about 45 pounds, and a lot of people noticed. I still looked my general size, but I had sort of "deflated" a bit.
This question has a different answer for every person. You've gotten some good advice; before and after pictures can be really eye-opening. A lot of the time it's really hard to see changes in the mirror, since you have to look at yourself every day, but seeing pictures side by side can show you what you're not seeing in the mirror from day to day.
