I'm wondering if anyone on here has the same problem, and if there are any ideas on what to do....here goes.
After two 10 pound children, my stomach is in rough shape. I have horrid, deep stretch marks. As I lose weight, my stomach just kind of sinks in, and with the stretch marks, my skin doesn't have the elasticity it should have to tighten up, so my skin literally HANGS. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do for the stretch marks???
I had two big babies as well and I have the same issue. I have no clue what will help, or what can be done except a tummy tuck. Any others have ideas on what has worked out there?
I've only had one child, and she was only 6lb 9oz, but I have the same issue. There is still subcutaneous fat there, and as you lose, it will start to tighten up. You can also try Mederma Stretch Marks cream...it's done pretty well for me so far.
My stomach is the same way. The stretch marks are horrid, and the skin just kind of sinks in on itself (if that makes any sense). Hoping that finishing up the weight loss will help some, and time. I had horrid stretch marks on my chest because I basically grew a chest overnight but with time they have faded away to nothing. Unless you knew they were there, and the light is right you can't see them. I'm hoping a similar thing will happen with my stomach, but honestly if it doesn't I will probably look into a tummy tuck when we're done having children.
Same here - sorry no advise. Its quite frustrating to be close to my goal and still have some much skin. I'm exercising more so hopefully the skin will start to tight up some and then I can try some topicals to help fade the marks, but as mine are 18 yrs old, I don't know if that will help.
after an almost 10lb baby and 2-8lb twins, my stomach is destroyed and surgery is the only was to get rid of this horrible skin. I do wear spanx to tuck my twin skin in. The joys of motherhood!
I have read that argan oil is helpful for the skin's elasticity. That, and the standard cocoa butter. I just got some argan and when I remember, I combine it with some aloe gel or some Burt's Bees unscented body lotion. It's expensive so I just use a little. Time will tell if it really helps.
Hey While I haven't had kids, I have quite a "marked" body from gaining weight super fast. As I've been losing weight, I notice that my skin is a bit "saggy"... Online search has revealed that this should get better with time as the skin adjusts. I'm trying to push it along by exfoliating regularly Right now and using Palmer's creams (the ones pregnant women use) every night and I started with collagen supplements (they aren't expensive). Let's see how it goes...
I don't have kids...but got stretch marks on my belly 'cause it got big and bloated...now that I've lost weight the marks have disappeared! I was so surprised and satisfied!
I'm in the same boat...when I lost weight the last time my tummy got smaller, but I still had another 40 lbs to go to ready my goal, so I don't know what to expect. I'm worried about that and about my inner thighs.
I am horrible about remember to moisturize...I tell my girls, but I forget to do it myself.

My stretch marks are horrible, and I have them on my hips and thighs and even my calf muscles, my stomach is horrible and I do not wear bathing suits often. I have very small breasts which had stretch marks on them too and I call myself thunder thighs as I am definitely a bigger butt and hips girl...
My boyfriend bought me a bikini last summer and it has never been worn, maybe if I can hit my goal! *fingers crossed* but the stretch marks are in there deep and sometimes they even hurt!
Its sad really that I am ashamed of my post baby body
2 babies I had... I was at my highest baby pregnancy weight 198pounds, with an almost 10pounder, 13yrs ago!
Although I'm not too far into my weightloss journey, I have stretch marks from pregnancies and weight gain. A few months ago I started selling It Works products and found their defining gel to be AMAZING for stretch marks. I won't say mine are gone, because they aren't but this has greatly helped to minimize them!!
