Hi there! welcome! what kind of plan are you doing? what will your work our routine be? what weight category are you in? there many different forums that might direct you to the best challenge for you! for example in your doing weight watchers or if your calorie counting.. those might be the places to check who is doing challenges.. there are also many weigh in for the 300lb plus weight group etc, or people are are really into exercise can check out the exercise forum! I myself am a calorie counter , over 300 lbs and go to the gym at least 3 times a week so I hang out in the calorie counters groups, 300lb group and exercise threads! hope you find a place that will help you in the right direction!
I'm around 180...have been on a weight loss yo-yo all my life. Was anorexic for a few years then did the divorce diet. My highest was 220, my lowest was 147. I lost 65 lbs going through a divorce 3 years ago and have gained 20 back and am sick to my stomach about it. I'm not following any particular plan. Just trying to not snack anymore and eat at night when I get home from work. Am going to start exercising today, at home. I just don't know what I really should be doing...but I know I want to do it the right way this time. Any suggestions?
Every person is different, but if you have a smart phone you may want to check out the Calorie counter apps "my fitness pal" or "loose it". They will help you keep track of your food intake so you don't accidentally eat your days allotment of calories in potato chips.
thanks! but i just gave up my smart phone...was costing too much $. I recently left my job in finance to enter the medical field and have taken quite the pay cut. I'm going to start an exercise program tomorrow...as i work 14 hours today. I'm between jobs right now for an hour so i am home letting my dogs out and online for a bit.

For the next 21 days:
No chocolate, candy, cookies or biscuits, cake, donuts, muffins, pastries, white bread, chips, fast food, spreads (pb and nutella) and ice cream. The chips is the hardest one. But I can do this!!!!!
