NOPE, sorry, I'm not in Africa, but...
I did do SBD abroad before I found this board. It was definitely harder without all my "go-to" products, more limited selection of produce (in other words, fruits & veggies had a "season" as they are supposed to but I am spoiled in the U.S. with year-round availability of most items!) and much more meat/potato/white rice/white bread/sweets than I am exposed to on my own turf. I have no idea what you have available in Nigeria, but I became really professional at finding obscure stores that stocked specialty items like whole wheat products, peanut butter, Laughing Cow cheeses, dense whole grain bread imported from Germany ... and stocking up. I also made LOTS from scratch - whole wheat tortillas & pasta, salsa. I would bring things from home (and ask any visitors to bring when they visited) like aseptic-pack tofu and whole wheat flour. I survived, despite waaay more potatoes than I have ever eaten before, and looking back at photos from then, I was a great weight!
There was an expats thread I remember seeing last year...
here it is ... it's not SBD-specific but there are some low-carbers there who might relate... you should revive this!

Black-eyed pea fritters (or
this version with pumpkin) - but I am NOT deep frying them! I honestly have never made a recipe that called for 6-8 CUPS OF OIL before
