Just found out i am 212 lbs. I did not think i was that heavy. But im going to get on a 1500 cal diet and keep working out and lose it i hope.

That's what happened the first time I came here to lose weight back in 2009/2010. I got on a scale and I was shocked that I was 194 lbs, I didn't think I was that big. It really motivated me to do better and I lost 48 lbs.

Please don't depressed....You can reduce your weight with the help of a easy way. If you take 2 cup green or white tea daily, then you can reduce your weight because it reduces cholesterol level. Try it .......Its my personal experience.

Velvetpanda....you might or might not want to try the tea thing, but Please take your own advice and stick with a 1500 calorie diet and excercise first and foremost. Green tea won't make you magically lose weight, if it did...no one would be overweight, we'd just chug green tea with our burgers and fries and donuts and all be thin.

I drink green tea cause its tasty! LOL. For no other reason, though.

Also, I agree with Lori (who is AWESOME and you should listen to her wise words!) .. you move more and eat less, and you WILL lose weight. And come to 3FC for support.

I am very familiar with depression and letting my weight put me in that mode. Find something that works for you, whether its calorie counting, weight watchers, ideal protein.....etc and stick with it. 1500 calories a day is very reasonable. Try to add some activity in also, every little bit helps.

No matter what your weight your still you. Beautiful alive and working to be better...we all are. Dont look at the scale Watch how you take care of your body! Youre going to do GREAT!
