Good morning, the is delicious I had a 'relatively' on program SuperBowl Sunday dinner, though too much of approved SB food (more reduced fat cream cheese and reduced fat sour cream in a chicken dip) but still no sweets or flour

Hope everyone has a good day We had lots of sun yesterday which was wonderful, though still in the 20's I heard it *might* get in the mid-30's here, if it does, the first thing I will do is wash my poor car! It is so salt-encrusted, it looks like a margarita glass rim

I think it will warm up today, so go for it re: the car. We got our car washed (and vacuumed inside, which it needed more than a wash) this weekend and it was so nice. We had a good time in Atlantic City, came out about $80 ahead on gambling but spent much more than we anticipated on dinner so it was a wash (isn't it usually, for whatever reason?). Today it's back to the grind, but I have tomorrow off so I'm psyched - a couple of dr. appts. and other things. I may go clothes shopping to at my favorite thrift, not sure. We'll see what happens. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Default Monday's Daily for 2/6

Good Monday morning! I wonder how many people are having to prop up their eyelids with toothpicks this morning?

I had an extremely busy weekend and am almost glad to be going back to work today. Monica, Caite & Carley decided to come back home with me yesterday, and they took the train back home last night. It was fun, and I just love having all my kids home under one roof, but I am totally wiped out.

It looks like a pretty calm week ahead. I do have to drive Cindy to the hospital early tomorrow morning for some out-patient surgery, but I'm taking my Kindle along while I wait for her. I just hope she's finished in plenty of time before we pick up the girls from school.

Good morning Just a quick wave before I get morning meds going. I'll be back after that's done with coffee in hand. Was there something going on last night? It was awfully quiet around here

Good morning chicks!

It's going to be a whirlwind of a day. Arrived back from my conference at the most gorgeous resort EVER (www.nemacolin.com) last night. I have work today from 9-2, and then DH picks me up at 3 for my flight at 4. I'll spend til Friday early AM with mom and dad. I feel good about it since mom is SO EXCITED I am coming down. We have a very ... um...sensitive relationship, so hopefully all will go well. I think food will go really well, since I'll do most of the cooking, and we're not planning on going out with dad's condition.

I'll try to check in!

Running late so a quickie. Off to the gym and then the rest of the morning with the gossiping quilting biddies. This afternoon is MINE!

Good morning, all. We never made it to the Super Bowl Party. My MIL was worse so we headed out in the morning and spent the day there, getting home at 10pm. I don't mind helping or keeping her company, but I need to figure out a way to do it without going off plan. Ugh. That's how I feel today. My BIL will play nursemaid today and maybe she'll be able to be alone after that. Fingers crossed.

I'm off to the gym for my Monday workout with my mom and trainer. My leg has been worse lately. Honestly, some days I feel like my body is just falling apart. Then I think of my MIL and how much worse it really could be and stop complaining! Okay, I'm in a "down" mood. Life. Sorry. I'll snap out of it

I need to do some serious meal planning and cooking. I so don't like to cook. I'm thinking I'll start with taco back with poultry; never done that before.

That taco bake sounds really good to me...the chicken dip, too, Vermont!

After a week now doing SB I feel great; the one thing I find myself craving over and over, oddly, is oats. Maybe because I keep seeing references to overnight oats? It reminds me of a muesli we used to eat backpacking. I'm making some as soon as I get to phase 2!! Only a week to go! lol

The Superbowl wasn't too bad; my husband made beer cheese and ate corn chips. I could eat a whole bag of corn chips and they smelled awesome. But I didn't have any, then he felt sick because he ate too much and I was glad I didn't!

I threw a few peeled radishes in my pot roast last night. I felt like I needed something that at least looked like a potato. I was surprised! They didn't taste like much, but they had a great texture--they melted into these buttery soft little balls of radishy goodness. I'll definitely be doing that again.

I guess I have food on the brain this morning... lol

Morning all,

I'm two days away from being on SB for a month -- still sort of baby stepping out of Phase 1. Had a lovey bowl of quinoa (cooked in low-fat soy milk and water) with walnuts, berries and cinnamon. I really missed fruit, so having a little every day has been a real treat. I'm learning to appreciate food all over again.

Kudos to those of you who are off to the gym! I need to get on with the exercise portion of my plan. Working at home, so will take the dog for a long walk - it's a beautiful, frosty morning. She needs the exercise as much as I do.

Happy Monday afternoon.

Superbowl came and went for us, no big deal. I made the Taco Casserole, it was so good esp on top of fresh lettuce with tomatoes. I felt like I was at a Mexican restaurant. Still have my lasagna to make. Oh, and I am going to make Liver Cookies for the dogs this week. My DH told me, well, that should smell real good baking in the oven! Not.

Hi to everyone. Now on to Tuesday.

I never got here this morning....I had paperwork to finish for mom before I left for work. I was working on it until the minute I left. The worst part was having to go to her house AFTER work but now I'm home for good.

See ya'll tomorrow!
