P90X nutrition question!

  • Ok, I am going to attempt to ask this here. Everywhere else all I get is "sign up so I can coach you, and I will tell you"...

    Has anyone done P90X and not followed the diet exactly? I am NOT taking the **********, and I am having a hard time getting all the protein the book tells me I should get. Any info would be wonderful.. Thank you!!
  • YES. If you're wanting to to lose weight while doing it then make sure you still have a calorie deficit BUT pay more attention to your post workout meal. You still want to get a decent amount of protein but you don't need a butt load.
  • AndreaMarie, Thank you! I am doing a post workout shake, with fruit and PB added. It adds up to about 350 calories but its almost 40 grams of protein. I am trying to focus on diet as much as workout. Thank you for the information!
